Crimscote Construction’s plant machinery can be seen working hard in Solihull’s Alderbrook Rd this week. Crimscote Construction are delighted to have completed the first two plots up to damp course within our new homes project on Alderbrook Rd, Solihull; for our client Romford Homes
Plenty of our own plant and machinery are now visible on site making progress to move somewhere in the region of 2000m3 of earth to make way for these impressive new homes.
Crimscote Construction, working on behalf of Romford Homes have in fact completed the first two, of the 7 bespoke development plots within this new estate up to D.P.C. level.
Work will commence on the piling aspect next week, which will see no fewer than 217 piles driven into the ground before we install the complex hi tensile steel ring beam foundation cage. This complex and labour intensive stage of the package will consume almost three weeks work for 12 of our experienced ground workers.
Visit our Twitter page to see some of the pictures detailing and illustrating our progressive development to ensure we complete the sub structure package in good time.
Next week will see some of the storm drainage installed with specific and bespoke Vortex Hydro Break Flow Control chamber which is designed to carefully monitor and distribute the storm drainage under controlled discharge.
Crimscote construction will be handing over these first two plots this week to the above ground construction trades who will begin to bring the brickwork up above the site hoarding allowing passing traffic to take a glimpse of how these developments will sit proudly on the elevated section of one of the most prestigious roads in Solihull.
We currently have no fewer than seven 360 degree tracked excavators on site to hit all elements of the groundworks, drainage, block and beam flooring system, brickwork, and road preparation.
Crimscote Construction will be responsible for the complete and comprehensive civil and groundworks package for the new estate, all seven houses and a new service road. Each plot will boast more than 200 square metres floor plan over two stories in what is widely considered as one of the most desirable roads in the midlands.
